Kendra Anderson

Kendra Anderson graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2007 having studied acting, singing and dancing. It was there that she had the honour of training with Speech and Monologue Instructor Dr. Iris MacGregor-Bannerman. Under Dr. MacGregor-Bannerman's guidance, Kendra discovered her own voice and other voices in the form of accents and dialects. On a daily basis, Kendra utilizes Dr. MacGregor-Bannerman's warm up and voice care techniques and methodology known as "Think, Breathe, Speak". Kendra has worked with additional vocal coaches and experts over the years, including renowned Speech-Language Pathologist Shelagh Davies.

Kendra has worked as an actor in film, television, theatre, voice over and motion capture both in Vancouver and Toronto. Throughout her career, she has continued to hone her craft at Railtown Actors Studio with Kate Twa and John Cassini, all while placing an emphasis on vocal health and longevity.

Kendra also holds a 500-hour RYTT in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga. In her voice classes, she incorporates alignment based movement and select yogic breath work in order to enable students to better open the body and connect with breath and the power of their own voice.
