Director Workshop with Peter Deluise
This is a workshop that covers the Director's perspective of the Actor's Craft while auditioning or working on film. Learn or refresh ways to sharpen your auditioning skills and use new techniques to make your taped auditions look their very best. We will discuss the difference between shots such as Master / Medium / Close-up / Dirty, and how to perform within each while maintaining Continuity. Learn performance techniques that will make you an Editable Actor: an editable actor is one they want back.
Peter has directed over 175 hours of television, both on highly successful series as well as made for TV movies. He wrote more than 15 episodes of Stargate and has also been a Supervising Producer, Consulting Producer and Executive Producer multiple times on various productions.
Peter has received a combined six Leo nominations for Best Direction and Best Screenwriting, and one Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing. He is the winner of a Leo Award for Best Direction, as well as Best Director for Vancouver Web Fest.
