This course will offer you practical skills that will demystify the acting process.  

You will build on your previous training and delve deeper into text analysis, imaginative work and character development.

We’ll strike a balance between intense preparation and using your instincts to react to things in the moment, bringing life to each performance/take.  

Working from a wide variety of scripts, we’ll play with the musicality of the text - pacing, rhythm changes, tone, style – and see how mastering these elements can make your work more naturalistic.  

There will be a focus on collaborating as part of a team, that serves the text and the director’s vision, and at the same time allows the actor’s choices and talent to shine through.  

An underling goal will be to play with joy and let that feeling infuse all of our work.
