From Page to Stage to Screen
This Three-Day Intensive is focused on the needs of Young Actors wanting to dive deeper into the art and technique of acting.
Actors will work on researching developing and rehearsing short scenes with partners in a supportive, creative and safe atmosphere. We will work each day on exploring the fundamental principles of acting and trying out a range of practical techniques of performance for stage and screen. Moving from the script, actors will practice solo exercises, then paired scene work, and on the final day we will put that work in front of the camera.
Text analysis, screen work, voice and movement, along with sensory and imagination work will all be part of this focused study group.
No matter the age or experience of any actor, there is always more to learn, explore and discover. Railtown is the perfect place for young, striving actors who want to work hard and have fun doing what they love.
Scenes will be assigned in advance and students will arrive to class prepared and ready to get to work.

Cost: $375 including GST ($100 Deposit / $275 due March 24th)
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure a place in the class. The final payment of $275 will be due March 24th, the first day of class.
