Scene‍‍‍ Study Intensive

Move.

Edward Foy will take students through warmup, clown and movement exercises to heighten actors' connection to their physical instrument and to bring a strong presence and specificity to their work.

Delve.

After thorough text analysis, John Cassini will guide students through relaxation, sensory work, and privacy exercises. This will help further develop the characters' inner lives within the given circumstances of the play.

Scene Study.

Anthony Shim will introduce a wide range of techniques from his Ensemble classes, to keep actors trusting their instincts and working from a place of truth as they navigate their way through the scenes. With hi‍‍‍s keen director's eye, Anthony will then shape the work and prepare it for Presentation.

Where: Railtown Actors Studio 155 East Pender, Vancouver

Dates:   January 7 to 20, 2019

Hours: 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, plus weekend rehearsals and Tech / Presentation on the final weekend.

Presentation: Two Evening Presentations, January 19 & 20‍‍‍‍‍‍.

Total Cost: $1100 (GST incl)

Deposit: $5‍‍00 (GST incl.)

Payments: A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $500 is required to secure a place in the intensive. The remaining $600 payment will be due on January 7th, the first day of class.
